A gallon of gas in Venezuela is less than .20/gallon, in many oil producing nations it is less than $1.50 gallon. In the US prices are approaching $4/gallon.
The reason for such high prices isn’t a shortage of oil but rather greed and corrupt governments controlled by big corporations whose only goal is profit. However, ultimately the fault is our own. We let it happen.
If the US were a real democracy the people would have the power to take control of their own resources and use American oil for America at cost and develop alternative fuels such as hydrogen and synthetic fuel from clean coal.
We could also stop the suppression of high mileage engines so that ever car could get 100 mpg. There is no technological reason why even SUVs can’t get 100 mpg.
With fuel efficient vehicles America could be completely energy self-sufficient and would have no more reason to be committing genocide to steal oil from other countries.
With lower energy prices the price of food would drop and the economy would rebound.
Such are the blessings of real democracy where the people rule instead of corporations. But, it may never happen in Duhmerika because the people have given up their minds to TV and other mass control media.
For decades American’s have been brain-washed to the point where the entire culture is one of ignorance, arrogance, apathy and fear. Changing an entire culture is not easy but can be done if only enough people stand up and think for themselves – THIS MEANS YOU, AND ME.
If you would prefer to not go quietly into the night of fascism there are things you can do.
Step 1 – Avoid mass media. As soon as you turn on the TV or radio or read the daily paper your mind is resonating with all the others consuming the same media at the time and the impact of the media is overwhelming. Most media in the US is now carefully crafted as mind control for social engineering – AVOID IT. If you consume mass media you will be influenced so simply opt-out.
Step 2 – Get involved on a local level. If more people in towns across America did what people did in Vermont and actually issued arrest warrants for Bush and his gang, the war criminals and destroyers of America would have no place to hide. We must hang on to what little measure of democracy exists at the local level and take back our governments. It can be done if enough people act.
Stop being deluded that voting for one political party or another will make any difference. All political parties and the entire voting process on state and national levels are hopelessly corrupted and controlled by criminal elements.
Step 3 – Educate yourself and then educate others. To be silent is to be an accomplice to the destruction of your country. Research what is really going on and then tell others what you learn. Many people are thirsting for truth and hope – you can give it to them.
