No Accountability in US Federal AgenciesSeveral US govt. agencies are legally exempt from audits and oversight from Inspector Generals. As a result, these agencies regularly engage in criminal activity with no accountability. Still think you live in a democracy?
If you want to engage in massive criminal activity there is no better place to do it than from inside one of the following US govt. agencies:
– Department of Defense (DOD)
– Department of the Treasury
– Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
– Department of Justice (DOJ)
– US Postal Service (USPS)
– Federal Reserve Board (FRB)
– Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
The Secretary of each of these agencies has the authority under the “IG Act” as ammended in 1978 to “prevent the Inspector General from pursuing an investigation or audit, including the issuance of subpoenas”.
This is why the Federal Reserve Board and the Dept. of the Treasury can refuse to reveal where trillions of dollars went and the DOD can’t simply say that it has no idea what it did with over $2 trillion in missing funds. Congress nor any Inspector General can investigate these agencies unless they allow it. The only recourse would be for the President to replace the Secretary of the agency.
Since the American people have no control over the President it means that the American people have no control over their major government agencies, yet these agencies have authority over the people. They have the authority to wage war and run up massive debt on behalf of the American people.
Most Americans have long forgotten that the purpose of government is to serve the needs of the people, not rule them. This basic concept is why the United States was formed and is an essential aspect of the US Constitution.
When our government violates the Constitution it is our duty to change the government, unless of course we really want to live in a fascist police state.
